GRAPHIC DESIGN
SERVICES AT MASCONOMET
The
curriculum of the Graphic Design courses at Masconomet incorporate ‘real-world’
design problems for students to solve. These ‘real’ problems come from local
non-profit organizations such as The American Heart Association, The League of
Women Voters and The Topsfield Athletic Association to name a few. These ‘real’
projects provide a great opportunity for the students to learn what
professional designers do—work with clients, develop concepts, design solutions
and present their final work.
To
facilitate planning the course, a client request form needs to be completed by
those community members interested in utilizing the services provided by the
Graphic Design classes. The art department will review all requests. The
greater the lead-time we are provided, the greater the likelihood the project
can be incorporated into the school year, provided it meets our curricular
needs.
