In Grades 7 and 8 there are three teams. Students are given their team assignment randomly by computer. Each team contains an approximately equal number of boys and girls, and students from each community within the tri-town area.
The team system enables you and your teachers to develop a positive and friendly working relationship. You will know what's expected of you from the very beginning. As a general rule, there is more homework per night than you have had in elementary school and homework is assigned on the weekends. You can plan on twenty minutes of homework a night in each major subject. The team is there to help you in any way it can.
Teachers are available in their classroom for extra help sessions from 2:20-2:50 pm, Monday through Thursday.
