We will begin with an examination of classical mythology and explore works taught in other classes at Masconomet as well as novels, plays, poems, and movies assigned for this class. We will see how basic concepts such as good, evil, innocence, experience, heroism, independence and others have been treated over the centuries and how these concepts apply in the students' own lives.

We will have fun exploring the big and great ideas in literature and the other arts.
