John Daileanes serves as the Director of Athletics at Masconomet Regional High School, where he oversees one of the largest and most successful interscholastic athletic programs in Massachusetts. Since joining Masconomet in 2013, he has provided strategic leadership for more than 60 athletic teams across 19 sports, supporting hundreds of student-athletes while fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and educational athletics.

Prior to his tenure at Masconomet, Daileanes served as Athletic Director at Newburyport High School for 14 years, establishing a reputation as a respected leader in high school athletics throughout the Commonwealth. His extensive experience in athletic administration, program development, facilities planning, and student-athlete advocacy has helped shape opportunities for generations of student-athletes.

A distinguished athlete in his own right, Daileanes graduated from Colby College, where he earned National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Basketball Times All-America honors in 1992. During his senior season, he averaged nearly 30 points per game and led the nation in scoring. He scored over 1,700 career points at Colby and was honored in 1993 when the school retired his #33 jersey. Daileanes is also a proud member of the Central Catholic High School Athletics Hall of Fame.

Following his playing career, Daileanes earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Springfield College while serving as a graduate assistant coach for the men’s basketball program. His background as both an elite athlete and educator continues to inform his leadership philosophy: athletics should be an extension of the classroom, teaching commitment, resilience, leadership, teamwork, and character.

At Masconomet, Daileanes is committed to providing a first-class experience for every student-athlete while supporting coaches, families, and the broader school community. Under his leadership, Masconomet Athletics continues to build upon its rich tradition of competitive success, academic achievement, and community pride, preparing students for success both on the field and beyond graduation.

Kate Baribeault-Vlcan serves as the Athletics Administrative Assistant at Masconomet Regional High School, providing essential support for the daily operations of the Chieftains Athletic Department. She works closely with student-athletes, coaches, families, and administration to help deliver a positive and organized athletic experience for the entire Masconomet community.

A former student-athlete at Emmanuel College in Boston, Kate earned GNAC All-Conference honors while competing for both the Saints soccer and softball programs from 1999-2003.

Prior to joining Masconomet in February of 2025, Kate spent 13 years with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, California, where she gained extensive experience in program administration, community engagement, and organizational operations. Her background in nonprofit leadership and athletics provides a unique perspective as she supports the continued success and growth of Masconomet Athletics.

Gordon Pan serves as the Athletic Trainer for Masconomet Athletics, bringing more than a decade of experience in sports medicine, athletic development, and performance training. His work is centered on helping student-athletes stay healthy, perform at their highest level, and develop the physical foundation necessary for long-term success in athletics.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Pan earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2013. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with 13 years of experience and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with more than a decade of expertise in athlete performance and development.

Pan began his professional career at Londonderry High School, where he advanced from an athletic training and strength coaching intern to a full-time role. Since then, he has built a diverse background working with athletes across a wide range of sports and competitive levels.

In 2016, he joined Parisi Speed School, further expanding his expertise in athletic performance training, and in 2017 he launched his own strength and conditioning business focused on helping athletes maximize their potential through individualized training and development.

Throughout his career, Pan has worked as a per diem athletic trainer throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, supporting public schools, independent schools, universities, and club sports organizations. These experiences have provided him with a broad perspective on athlete care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.

Gordon is passionate about youth athletic development and believes that success begins with building strong fundamentals, sound movement patterns, and healthy habits. He works closely with coaches, student-athletes, and families to create a collaborative approach to athlete wellness and development. His philosophy emphasizes injury prevention, evidence-based rehabilitation, and progressive strength and conditioning programs designed to help athletes build confidence, resilience, and long-term athletic success.

Bryan Duplissie serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Baseball program and is a member of the school's Business and Computer Science Department. A longtime educator and coach at Masconomet, Duplissie has dedicated his career to developing student-athletes and building programs centered on accountability, teamwork, and competitive excellence.

Prior to becoming the head coach of the Chieftains, Duplissie spent several years as an assistant coach within the program and was a member of the coaching staff that helped guide Masconomet Baseball to a state championship in 2014. His extensive coaching experience, combined with his passion for mentoring young athletes, has helped establish a culture of hard work, preparation, and pride throughout the program.

A native of New Hampshire, Duplissie was a three-sport All-State athlete in basketball, baseball, and golf before continuing his athletic career at Franklin Pierce University. There, he earned All-American honors as a Division II baseball player and established himself as one of the premier hitters in the region. Following college, he spent three seasons playing professional baseball, bringing firsthand experience at the highest levels of competition to his coaching career.

Coach Duplissie believes athletics provide students with valuable opportunities to develop leadership, resilience, discipline, and character. Through his commitment to player development and educational athletics, he strives to prepare student-athletes for success both on the field and beyond graduation.

Jaycob Morales serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Boys Basketball program, bringing a wealth of playing experience, coaching knowledge, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Since joining the Chieftains in 2024, Morales has helped establish a culture built on teamwork, accountability, competitiveness, and pride in representing Masconomet.

A former standout player at Central Catholic High School and Wheaton College, Morales has spent his career immersed in basketball at the highest levels. His experiences as a player have shaped his coaching philosophy, emphasizing commitment, selflessness, discipline, and the importance of competing together as a team.

Prior to arriving at Masconomet, Morales served as the Head Coach at Cathedral High School in Boston, where he continued to develop his skills as a program leader and mentor. He has built a reputation for creating a positive team culture while helping student-athletes maximize their potential.

At Masconomet, Coach Morales is committed to building a program that reflects the values of Chieftains Athletics, developing confident young men, fostering lifelong relationships, and providing student-athletes with an experience that extends beyond the basketball court. Through his leadership, dedication, and belief in the power of teamwork, Morales continues to strengthen the tradition and future of Masconomet Boys Basketball.

Jalen Aho serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Basketball program, where he is committed to developing student-athletes through teamwork, accountability, and competitive excellence. A proud Masconomet alumnus, Coach Aho brings a deep appreciation for the traditions of Chieftains Athletics and a passion for helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court.

A 2014 graduate of Masconomet Regional High School, Aho was a multi-sport student-athlete who competed in both basketball and football. He served as a co-captain of the boys basketball team during his senior season, experiences that helped shape his leadership style and commitment to team culture.

After graduating from Masconomet, Aho attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 2019. He currently serves as a Special Education Teacher at Masconomet Middle School, allowing him to make a positive impact on students both in the classroom and through athletics.

In addition to leading the Girls Basketball program, Aho has contributed to Masconomet Athletics as the Head Coach of the Girls Lacrosse program and as a volleyball coach, reflecting his dedication to student-athlete development across multiple sports. His leadership and success have earned recognition throughout the Northeastern Conference, including being named the 2025 Northeastern Conference Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.

Coach Aho believes that athletics provide students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and lifelong relationships. Through his commitment to educational athletics, he strives to create an environment where student-athletes are challenged to compete at a high level, support one another, and proudly represent the Masconomet community.

Tracey Zimirowski serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Cheerleading program, leading one of the school's most successful and visible athletic programs. Known for her energy, dedication, and commitment to student-athlete development, Coach Zimirowski has built a program culture centered on teamwork, accountability, leadership, and school pride.

Under her leadership, Masconomet Cheerleading has earned recognition as one of the top programs in Massachusetts. In 2025, the Chieftains captured the MSAA Small Co-Ed Division State Championship and were named MSAA Grand Champions, a remarkable achievement that resulted in formal recognition by the Massachusetts State Senate.

With more than 37 years of experience in the sport, Coach Zimirowski brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Masconomet. Throughout her career, she has served as a coach, choreographer, camp instructor, certified judge, tumbling instructor, stretch and flex instructor, and competitive cheerleader. Her extensive background allows her to provide student-athletes with a comprehensive approach to skill development, performance, and competitive success.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Zimirowski is an accomplished educator, entering her 30th year in the field of education as a fourth-grade teacher in the City of Lynn. She believes athletics provide valuable opportunities for students to develop confidence, leadership, resilience, and character. Through her commitment to educational athletics, Coach Zimirowski strives to create an environment where student-athletes can excel both in competition and in life beyond graduation. Her passion for the sport and dedication to her athletes continue to strengthen the tradition and success of Masconomet Cheerleading.

Pat Mahoney serves as Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Boys Cross Country program, where he has built one of the most respected and successful programs in Massachusetts.

Since taking over the Chieftains in 2007, Coach Mahoney has fostered a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, perseverance, and a genuine sense of family, creating an environment where every athlete is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Under Coach Mahoney’s leadership, the Boys Cross Country program has achieved unprecedented competitive success, compiling a 133-45 dual meet record and establishing itself as a consistent contender at the state level. The Chieftains have qualified for the MIAA Cross Country All-State Meet of Champions in each of the past three seasons and are coming off a ninth-place finish, the highest placement in program history.

While the program’s accomplishments on the course are significant, Coach Mahoney takes equal pride in the culture that defines Masconomet Cross Country. His philosophy emphasizes character development, resilience, leadership, and the importance of building meaningful relationships through athletics. He believes that success is measured not only by race results, but also by the impact a program has on the lives of its student-athletes and the strength of the community it creates.

That commitment to sportsmanship and respect has become a hallmark of the program. The Chieftains have earned seven consecutive Sportsmanship Awards across both the Cape Ann League and Northeastern Conference, reflecting the values of integrity, teamwork, and respect that Coach Mahoney and his athletes strive to demonstrate every day.

A proud Masconomet alumnus, Coach Mahoney competed in cross country and track throughout his high school career before continuing as a Division I student-athlete at the College of the Holy Cross. His dedication to the sport and commitment to athlete development have earned widespread recognition, including multiple league and Salem News Coach of the Year honors. In 2018, he was named the MIAA Massachusetts Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year and the NFHS Regional Coach of the Year, an award recognizing the top coach across New England, New York, and New Jersey.

Through his leadership, Coach Mahoney continues to inspire student-athletes to pursue excellence, embrace challenges, and represent Masconomet with pride. His commitment to building both successful teams and outstanding young people has made a lasting impact on generations of Chieftain runners and helped establish one of the premier cross country programs in the state.

Cara Malio serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Cross Country program and has been a member of the Chieftains coaching staff since 2018. She began her tenure as an assistant coach under longtime head coach Joe Casey before being named head coach following his retirement in 2023. Throughout her time with the program, Coach Malio has been dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive team culture while helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the course.

Under Coach Malio’s leadership, the Girls Cross Country program has continued its tradition of competitive success, consistently posting winning records and qualifying for the MIAA All-State Meet in two of the past three seasons. While the team continues to pursue its goal of capturing a league championship, Coach Malio takes great pride in the steady growth, commitment, and achievements of her athletes.

Coach Malio believes that cross country is about much more than race results. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes perseverance, teamwork, accountability, and personal growth, creating an environment where athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and develop confidence through hard work and dedication. She is committed to helping student-athletes build lasting friendships and valuable life skills while fostering a lifelong appreciation for running and healthy competition.

A key part of the program’s success is the outstanding coaching staff that supports the team. Coach Malio is joined by assistant coaches Stefanie Dalton, Deb Persson, and Mason Tosch, whose leadership, mentorship, and daily commitment to the athletes help create a positive and inspiring team environment. Together, they serve as exceptional role models and play an integral role in the continued growth of the program.

Vanessa McGuire serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Field Hockey program. Prior to being named head coach in 2025, she served as a JV2 coach and Varsity Assistant, gaining valuable experience while helping build one of the area’s most successful field hockey programs.

In her first season as head coach, McGuire led the Chieftains to an undefeated regular season and was recognized as the Northeast Conference Coach of the Year, a reflection of both the team's success and her commitment to creating a competitive, student-centered program.

A former collegiate athlete, McGuire was Co-President of the Saint Anselm College Club Field Hockey team during her freshman and sophomore years before continuing her playing career at Salem State University. As a starting midfielder from 2016-2019, she developed the leadership, work ethic, and competitive mindset that continue to shape her coaching philosophy today.

Beyond the high school season, McGuire is a Masconomet Middle School math teacher, and is deeply invested in growing the game within the Masconomet community. She has organized and led youth field hockey clinics, summer camps, and strength training opportunities designed to introduce young athletes to the sport and help them develop confidence both on and off the field. Her dedication to community involvement and athlete development has helped strengthen the program's foundation and create a positive pathway for future Chieftains.

Coach McGuire is committed to fostering a culture built on teamwork, accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement. Through her leadership, student-athletes are encouraged to compete at a high level while developing the character, confidence, and leadership skills that will serve them long after their playing careers have ended.

Patrick Sheehan serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Football program, where he has led the Chieftains since 2024. In a short time, Coach Sheehan has established a culture built on discipline, accountability, toughness, and teamwork, guiding Masconomet to a Northeastern Conference Dunn Division Championship and two MIAA Division 3 State Tournament appearances.

Coach Sheehan brings more than two decades of high school coaching experience to the Chieftains program. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Lynnfield High School (2005–2007) before spending time at Triton Regional High School as an assistant coach in 2008. He returned to Lynnfield as Offensive Coordinator in 2009 before taking over as Head Coach at Triton Regional, a position he held from 2010–2017. Prior to joining Masconomet, Coach Sheehan spent six seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Reading Memorial High School (2018–2023), continuing to develop his expertise in offensive strategy, player development, and program leadership.

Throughout his career, Coach Sheehan has been committed to building successful programs by developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy centers on preparation, resilience, and character development, believing that football provides valuable lessons in leadership, commitment, perseverance, and teamwork.

Coach Sheehan is passionate about creating an environment where student-athletes are challenged to reach their full potential while representing their school and community with pride. Through his leadership, the Chieftains continue to build a tradition of excellence grounded in hard work, accountability, and a commitment to one another.

Coach Sheehan resides in Topsfield with his wife, Brenna, their daughter, Emilia, and their son, Teddie.

Vasko Vetzev serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Gymnastics program, where he has built one of the most successful high school gymnastics programs in Massachusetts. Under his leadership, the Chieftains have established a tradition of excellence, capturing multiple North Sectional and MIAA State Championships while consistently competing among the top teams in the Commonwealth.

A highly accomplished coach with international experience, Vetzev is a two-time Olympian and World Champion who has dedicated his career to developing gymnasts at every level of the sport. In addition to his role at Masconomet, he serves as a coach at Yellow Jackets Gymnastics, one of New England’s premier training facilities, where he has helped countless athletes reach their full potential.

Since taking the helm of the Masconomet program, Coach Vetzev has fostered a culture centered on hard work, teamwork, and continuous improvement. His athletes are recognized not only for their competitive success but also for their sportsmanship, dedication, and commitment to supporting one another. The program’s sustained excellence has produced numerous conference champions, state champions, and collegiate gymnasts while earning recognition as one of the premier programs in Massachusetts high school athletics.

Coach Vetzev believes that gymnastics provides student-athletes with valuable lessons in discipline, resilience, confidence, and perseverance. His coaching philosophy emphasizes both athletic achievement and personal growth, helping athletes develop the skills necessary to succeed in competition, academics, and life beyond high school.

Through his leadership, passion for the sport, and commitment to excellence, Vasko Vetzev continues to strengthen the tradition of Masconomet Gymnastics while inspiring student-athletes to pursue their highest potential both in and out of the gym.

Andrew Boepple serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Boys Ice Hockey program, where he is dedicated to developing student-athletes through competition, leadership, and a commitment to team-first success. A longtime member of the Masconomet community, Boepple brings a unique perspective as an educator, administrator, and coach, helping student-athletes excel both on the ice and in the classroom.

In addition to leading the Chieftains hockey program, Boepple serves as an Assistant Principal at Masconomet Regional Middle School. His background in educational leadership shapes his coaching philosophy, which emphasizes accountability, resilience, sportsmanship, and personal growth. He believes athletics provide students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, character, and lifelong leadership skills.

Coach Boepple has been a fixture in Masconomet athletics for many years, leading the Boys Ice Hockey program while helping to foster a culture built on hard work, discipline, and pride in representing the Chieftains. Under his leadership, the program has continued its tradition of competitive hockey within the Northeastern Conference and MIAA competition while providing student-athletes with a positive and challenging experience.

Beyond hockey, Boepple has contributed to Masconomet Athletics in a variety of capacities, including coaching and supporting multiple programs throughout the school community. His commitment to student development extends beyond wins and losses, focusing on preparing young people for success in academics, athletics, and life beyond graduation.

Through his leadership, dedication, and passion for educational athletics, Andrew Boepple continues to strengthen the tradition of Masconomet Boys Ice Hockey while helping student-athletes grow into confident leaders and outstanding representatives of the Masconomet community.

Pete DiNardo serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Ice Hockey program, bringing more than 15 years of coaching experience and a deep connection to the Masconomet community. A former Masconomet student and product of the Masco Youth Hockey program, DiNardo is committed to developing student-athletes who excel both on the ice and in the classroom while proudly representing the Chieftains.

A lifelong member of the Tri-Town community, DiNardo attended Masconomet Middle and High School before continuing his education at the prep school level. He was instrumental in helping establish the Masco Lady Chieftains youth hockey program, helping create opportunities for generations of young female hockey players throughout the region.

Prior to joining Masconomet in 2025, DiNardo served as the Assistant Varsity Girls Hockey Coach at Pingree School, where he helped guide the program to its first Eastern Independent League Championship appearance in six years. A Level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach, he has spent more than a decade and a half mentoring athletes and has helped numerous players advance to NCAA Division I, Division III, and ACHA collegiate hockey programs.

Coach DiNardo believes successful programs are built through a combination of accountability, confidence, discipline, and strong relationships. His philosophy emphasizes player development, leadership, academic achievement, and fostering a positive team culture that challenges athletes to reach their full potential. He is passionate about helping student-athletes develop the skills necessary to succeed not only in hockey, but in life beyond graduation.

Under his leadership, the Masconomet Girls Ice Hockey program is committed to establishing a culture of excellence while providing a competitive, supportive, and rewarding experience for every student-athlete. Through hard work, resilience, and a team-first mentality, Coach DiNardo strives to build a program that reflects the values and traditions of Chieftains Athletics.

Scott Marcoulier serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Indoor Track program and brings more than two decades of experience as both an educator and coach within the Masconomet community. A member of the Masconomet Regional School District for over 21 years, Coach Marcoulier teaches Physical Education at the middle school level and has dedicated his career to helping students develop confidence, character, and a lifelong appreciation for athletics.

Throughout his time at Masconomet, Coach Marcoulier has contributed to numerous athletic programs, including Girls Soccer, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, and Girls Indoor Track. He began his track coaching career as an assistant coach before taking over as head coach, where he has spent the past eight seasons leading the program.

Under Coach Marcoulier’s leadership, the Girls Indoor Track program has achieved significant success, capturing three league championships, including an undefeated championship season. While he takes pride in the team's accomplishments, his coaching philosophy extends far beyond wins and championships. He is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where student-athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, pursue continuous improvement, and develop meaningful relationships with their teammates.

Coach Marcoulier believes that athletics provide valuable opportunities for students to learn perseverance, accountability, leadership, and teamwork. He strives to help every athlete discover their potential while fostering a culture built on hard work, mutual respect, and pride in representing Masconomet.

Jared Scarpaci serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Boys Soccer program, where he has established one of the most successful programs in Massachusetts high school soccer. Since taking over as head coach in 2015, Scarpaci has led the Chieftains to multiple Northeastern Conference championships, numerous MIAA tournament appearances, and multiple state championship game appearances while building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and player development.

A highly respected figure in the New England soccer community, Scarpaci brings decades of coaching, teaching, and athletic leadership experience to Masconomet. Prior to leading the Chieftains, he served as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Emerson College, where he became the program's all-time winningest coach with 111 victories. During his tenure, Emerson produced dozens of All-Conference student-athletes, numerous Academic All-Conference selections, and multiple Academic All-American teams. His accomplishments earned him both GNAC Coach of the Year and Eastern Massachusetts Coach of the Year honors.

Beyond the high school and collegiate levels, Scarpaci has played a significant role in player development throughout Massachusetts. He served for more than 20 years as Director of the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program and spent a decade as Vice President of Aztec Soccer Club, helping develop countless players who advanced to collegiate and professional opportunities. He currently serves as Vice President of the Eastern Massachusetts Soccer Coaches Association, reflecting the respect he has earned among his coaching peers.

A graduate of Clemson University, Scarpaci holds a deep passion for the game and a commitment to educational athletics. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he is a member of the Masconomet Social Studies Department and previously served as the school's Athletic Director from 2008 to 2013. His unique combination of experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator provides valuable perspective in helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field.

Coach Scarpaci believes that athletics provide an opportunity to develop leadership, resilience, character, and a lifelong commitment to teamwork. Through his leadership, Masconomet Boys Soccer continues to compete among the state's elite programs while preparing student-athletes for success in the classroom, on the field, and beyond graduation.

Alison Lecesse serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Soccer program and is a member of the Masconomet Middle School Social Studies Department. Since taking over the varsity program, Coach Lecesse has built one of the premier girls soccer programs in Massachusetts, fostering a culture centered on excellence, teamwork, leadership, and community.

A local product, Lecesse was a standout soccer and softball athlete at Pentucket High School before continuing her athletic career at Eastern University. Following graduation, she taught English in Japan, working with students of all ages before returning to Massachusetts to pursue her career in education. She joined the Masconomet Middle School faculty in 2012 after teaching in Peabody and currently teaches seventh-grade Global Cultures.

Coach Lecesse brings a diverse coaching background to Masconomet, having coached high school soccer, softball, and lacrosse, while also serving as a collegiate soccer and softball coach. Prior to leading the varsity girls soccer program, she spent two years as the goalkeeper coach and six years as an assistant softball coach at Gordon College and served as Masconomet's JV Softball Coach.

Under her leadership, Masconomet Girls Soccer has become one of the most respected programs in the state. In 2024, the Chieftains captured the MIAA Division 2 State Championship, the program's first state title since 1989, finishing with an undefeated 22-0-1 record while outscoring opponents 101-6 and recording 19 shutouts. Her teams have earned recognition not only for their competitive success, but also for the family-oriented culture and commitment to developing the next generation of players within the Masconomet community.

Coach Lecesse believes athletics provide students with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, accountability, and leadership. Through her commitment to player development and educational athletics, she strives to create an environment where student-athletes can achieve success on the field, in the classroom, and throughout their lives.

Joe Ciccarello serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Softball program. Leading the Chieftains since 2021, Ciccarello brings more than 30 years of coaching experience and a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for the game of softball. Throughout his tenure at Masconomet, he has helped build a program centered on teamwork, accountability, player development, and competitive excellence.

Since taking over the program, Coach Ciccarello has guided the Chieftains to significant success, including a league championship in his first season and a second-place league finish the following year. Under his leadership, Masconomet Softball earned 14 victories in the most recent season, marking the program’s highest win total since 2014 and reflecting the continued growth and competitiveness of the program.

In addition to his coaching career, Ciccarello is a dedicated educator with nearly 34 years of teaching experience. He currently teaches at Peabody High School, where he has spent the past five years inspiring and supporting students in the classroom. Coach Ciccarello believes athletics provide student-athletes with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership, resilience, discipline, and character. Through his commitment to player growth and educational athletics, he strives to create an environment where student-athletes can compete at a high level while building the skills and values that will serve them well beyond the softball field.

Heather Rousseau serves as Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Swimming & Diving program, bringing a wealth of competitive and coaching experience along with a passion for developing student-athletes at every level. Throughout her career, Coach Rousseau has been committed to helping swimmers build confidence, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.

A lifelong swimmer, Rousseau began her competitive career at the age of seven through the YMCA and continued through college at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her experiences as a student-athlete helped shape the coaching philosophy she carries today, one that emphasizes hard work, technical excellence, dedication, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Masconomet, Coach Rousseau spent six years as the Lead Site Coach for the YMCA of the North Shore Sharks Swim Team, where she worked with athletes of all ages and ability levels. During her time with the program, she helped guide numerous swimmers to high-level competitions, including Speedo Sectionals, YMCA Nationals, YMCA New England Championships, and Age Group and Senior Championship meets. Her ability to develop athletes through a strong technical foundation and a commitment to consistent growth has been a hallmark of her coaching career.

Under Coach Rousseau’s leadership, the Masconomet Swimming & Diving program has continued to thrive both competitively and culturally. She is dedicated to creating an environment where student-athletes are challenged to pursue excellence while supporting one another as teammates. Her focus on accountability, perseverance, and team unity helps athletes develop valuable life skills that extend well beyond the pool. Coach Rousseau was named Salem News Coach of the Year in 2023, and NEC Coach of the Year in 2023 and 2025.

Matt Nardone serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Boys Tennis program and has been a member of the Chieftains coaching staff since 2015. With decades of playing, teaching, and coaching experience, he has built a program centered on respect, sportsmanship, personal growth, and competitive excellence.

Prior to joining Masconomet, Coach Nardone spent eight years coaching at Cedardale Health & Fitness Club, where he worked with both men's and women's teams while also providing private instruction to players of all ages and skill levels. He currently teaches at North Andover Country Club, where he primarily works with junior players and leads adult drills and skills programs.

A lifelong tennis player, Coach Nardone began playing at the age of 11 and remains actively involved in competitive tennis today. He continues to compete on numerous USTA adult teams and has qualified for the USTA National Championships more than ten times. He also enjoys competing alongside his son in national father-son tournaments, sharing a passion for the sport that has been a central part of his life for decades.

Coach Nardone's coaching philosophy is simple: treat every athlete with the same respect, support, and encouragement he would want for his own children. He believes that strong relationships, clear communication, and a positive team culture provide the foundation for both athletic and personal success. His goal is to create an environment where student-athletes are challenged to improve, compete with integrity, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the sport.

Under his leadership, the Masconomet Boys Tennis program has consistently achieved success, qualifying for the MIAA State Tournament in every season of his tenure. While proud of the program's competitive accomplishments, Coach Nardone places equal value on helping student-athletes develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and sportsmanship that will serve them well beyond their high school years.

Alan McCarthy serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Tennis program and brings more than two decades of experience as both an educator and coach within the Chieftains community. A member of the Masconomet faculty since 1999, Coach McCarthy teaches AP Computer Science in the Business and Computer Science Department and has dedicated his career to helping students develop the skills, confidence, and character needed for success both in the classroom and through athletics.

Since beginning his coaching career in 2000, McCarthy has served in a variety of roles across multiple Masconomet programs, including Head Coach of Boys Tennis, Head Coach of Varsity Girls Lacrosse, and assistant coach for Cross Country and Indoor Track. His extensive coaching background has helped shape a philosophy centered on building meaningful relationships, fostering a strong team culture, and creating an environment where every student-athlete is challenged to improve and reach their full potential.

An active member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Coach McCarthy continues to compete in seasonal league play, allowing him to remain connected to the sport while continuing to grow as both a player and coach. His commitment to lifelong learning and development is reflected in his approach to coaching, where he emphasizes communication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Coach McCarthy believes that high school athletics provide some of the most valuable lessons students experience, teaching confidence, resilience, leadership, and accountability. While he values competitive success, his greatest priority is ensuring that every student-athlete enjoys the experience of being part of a team and leaves the program with lasting memories and meaningful relationships.

Dave Mitchell serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Girls Track & Field program, where he is dedicated to helping student-athletes achieve excellence in competition, academics, and personal growth. A longtime educator and coach at Masconomet, Mitchell has earned a reputation for fostering a culture built on hard work, accountability, perseverance, and team success. He is also a member of the Masconomet High School Social Studies Department, where he has spent years inspiring students both in and out of the classroom.

Throughout his career, Coach Mitchell has been committed to the principles of educational athletics, believing that participation in sports provides students with valuable opportunities to develop leadership, resilience, confidence, and character. His coaching philosophy emphasizes individual improvement, team unity, and creating an environment where every athlete is challenged to reach their full potential.

Under Mitchell's leadership, the Girls Track & Field program has continued to build upon Masconomet's tradition of athletic excellence. His teams are known for their competitive spirit, dedication, and commitment to representing the Chieftains with pride. Whether working with first-time athletes or accomplished competitors, he focuses on helping each student-athlete grow while contributing to the success of the team.

In addition to his work as a coach and educator, Mitchell has received recognition for excellence in teaching, including being named the National History Teacher of the Year. His passion for education and student development is reflected in every aspect of his work with Masconomet students and athletes.

Coach Mitchell believes that success is measured not only by championships and records, but by the impact athletics have on students' lives. Through his leadership, mentorship, and commitment to excellence, he continues to help student-athletes develop the skills and confidence necessary to succeed both on the track and beyond graduation.

Tory Snow serves as the Head Coach of the Masconomet Regional High School Volleyball program, bringing a passion for the game, a commitment to athlete development, and a strong belief in the power of teamwork and community.

Coach Snow’s coaching philosophy is rooted in creating a positive, competitive environment where student-athletes are encouraged to grow, support one another, and develop the skills and mindset needed for success both on and off the court.

A lifelong athlete, Snow grew up in Saugus where she competed as a two-sport athlete at Saugus High School from 2012-2016, participating in both volleyball and softball. While volleyball quickly became her passion, she credits her athletic experiences with shaping her appreciation for teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of being a great teammate

Snow continued her education at the University of Massachusetts Boston, earning a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. After graduation, she transitioned into a career in real estate.

After several years away from playing, Snow returned to the sport in 2023 when she was given the opportunity to coach the freshman volleyball team at Saugus High School. That experience reignited her passion for the game and confirmed her desire to help young athletes discover the same love for volleyball that shaped her own journey.

Snow has continued to expand her coaching experience, working with Avidity Volleyball Club as both an assistant and head coach while also serving as an assistant varsity coach at Wilmington High School.

Coach Snow believes that successful programs are built on two essential foundations: skill development and culture. She is committed to creating a volleyball community where student-athletes feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. Her goal is to help athletes develop confidence, resilience, and a competitive mindset while building the character and leadership skills that extend beyond the court.
