Masconomet Athletics provides student-athletes with opportunities to develop leadership, resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing at the highest levels of interscholastic athletics. As an extension of the educational experience, our athletic programs help students build character, pursue excellence, and create lifelong connections with teammates, coaches, and the broader Masconomet community.

Masconomet Regional High School is the destination for students who want to challenge themselves both academically and athletically. Our student-athletes benefit from a comprehensive educational experience that emphasizes achievement in the classroom while fostering personal growth, leadership, dedication, and competitive success on the playing field, court, track, and beyond.

Competing in the Northeastern Conference (NEC), one of the premier athletic conferences in Massachusetts, Masconomet fields 60 teams across 19 sports at the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels. Our programs consistently compete for league championships and regularly qualify for MIAA state tournaments, earning recognition throughout the Commonwealth for their success and sportsmanship.

Nearly half of the Masconomet student body participates in athletics each year, reflecting the important role sports play in our school culture. Whether competing for a championship, representing the Chieftains for the first time, or developing skills for future success, every student-athlete has the opportunity to be part of a proud tradition that values commitment, teamwork, and excellence.
