The Masconomet Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) Program is designed to enable all our students to become scientifically and technologically literate citizens. To achieve this goal, STE courses promote development of scientific reasoning skills, acquisition of a functional body of scientific knowledge, and understanding of the role of technology in society. The STE Program also enables those students planning to attend college or technical school to prepare the wide range of majors that require a strong science, technology and/or engineering background. Three years of lab science are REQUIRED for graduation. One year must be in a biological science and one year in a physical science.
