On Thursday, December 12th from 5:00-7:00pm in the auditorium, the freshman class of 2023 will be hosting a Holiday Movie Night! We will be showing “The Polar Express” to raise funds for our class. The cost is $5.00 per person. The tri-town elementary schools are invited as well 😊. We are encouraging everyone to wear their most festive holiday pajamas/ugly sweaters, etc. We will be awarding a prize to the most festively dressed! If you have any questions, contact Ms. Finnegan, Class of 2023 advisor.

Remember that NHS students are offering after school peer tutoring on a drop in basis every Tuesday and Thursday in the Library. This service initiative is limited in scope with 6 NHS tutors available each day and is not intended to replace direct after school help from teachers. The hope is that in the spirit our successful and longstanding peer leading program, it will be another avenue for students to build a sense of community at Masco. Any interested students can stop by at the start of extra help and check in with the NHS officer in charge in the Video-Editing Room of the library.

Have you got stacks of newspapers you want to get rid of? How about mascara brushes that you are ready to throw away? Well the environmental club will be hosting a Newspaper and Mascara Brush Drive next week. There will be boxes outside the library, one for newspaper and one for mascara brushes. The brushes will be donated to the Appalachian wildlife refugees, where they will be used to clean animals fur and feathers from oil spills. The newspapers will be donated to an animal shelter in Haverhill where they will be used for the mats in the cages.
