Each student has written their name on a leaf to help create our "Community Tree". When the leaves are placed together on the branches, the tree stands strong reflecting the diversity and unity that make up our Middle School community.
In Mr. Malio’s STEM class, teams of 8 White students are busy assembling their electric cars. After they identify the various subsystems of the vehicle, they will use the Universal Systems Model to modify their vehicles as they prepare to race their classmates in the ultimate electric car drag race!
It was exciting to see the eighth grade students back at school. We have high expectations for each of them this year. Theodore Roosevelt said that “Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort”. Our Middle School provides opportunities for problem solving, collaboration, communication and creative thinking. This year let’s help every student experience the “joy of achievement” and the “thrill of creative effort.”
