Thank you for visiting the Masconomet Regional High School Website. I hope you find the information useful as you learn more about our school. The website provides an opportunity for you to gain insight into the academic and extra-curricular programs that make Masconomet a vibrant school community.
I began my professional career as a Research Assistant at Beth Isreal Deaconess Hospital working in the area of growth factor research. I earned my Ph.D. from the Tufts University School of Biomedical Sciences in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. I decided to take my experiences in bench research and use this expertise to excite the next generation of scientists, beginning this work in earnest when I joined the science department at Andover High School. Within a few years, I moved to a more administrative role overseeing the high school science curriculum and instruction as well as managing a Massachusetts STEM Pipeline fund grant supporting efforts to bring engineering experiences to the middle school. After nine years at Andover High School, I joined the faculty of Brooks School in North Andover as the Science Program Advisor. I have taught Biology, AP Biology, and Physics during my tenure as a classroom teacher. I became the Dean of Teaching Learning and alongside the dean of faculty and academic dean, supported my colleagues in trying to ensure the most meaningful classroom experience for all students. I assumed my current position as the Principal of Masconomet Regional High School in July 2021 where I hope to make an impact by continuing my work in ensuring student-centered experiences through the creation, implementation, and evaluation of skills-based learning initiatives.
