As you are aware, local meteorologists have a high degree of confidence in tomorrow's snowstorm. Since this will have an impact on in-person school operations, the Masconomet Regional Schools will implement a Remote Learning Day for Thursday, December 17th in lieu of a snow day. No students or faculty will physically attend school. We will follow our regular hybrid class schedule for the day. Masconomet buildings and offices will also be closed. Office and administrative personnel will work from home.
I will be monitoring conditions throughout the overnight. If the storm causes widespread power outages, we may need to cancel school outright. I will communicate any changes to our plan prior to 7:00 AM, if necessary.
On Friday, December 18, students in Cohort A will attend school in-person.
